Guided by expert naturalists, you will walk hidden trails, illuminated only by flashlights, in search of brightly colored frogs, stealthy snakes, agile lizards and much more. Our tour departures from Uvita town at 5:50 pm , from our meeting point you will follow us on your own transport to the place up on the mountain where the activity takes place , if you need transport or pick up and drop off we can set up for an extra cost.

Sierpe Mangrove Boat Tour
The Térraba-Sierpe National Wetland, located in the province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica, is an important coastal wetland characterized by the presence of mangroves and other aquatic ecosystems. It is one of the largest wetlands in Central America and an important Ramsar site for its rich biodiversity. The wetland is located at the mouth of the Térraba and Sierpe rivers, on the South Pacific slope, and covers more than 32,000 hectares. It is a vital ecosystem for the conservation of flora and fauna, including birds, reptiles, and mammals. In addition, the wetland is an important tourist attraction, as it offers the opportunity to enjoy boat tours through the mangroves and observe wildlife.

For 3 hours, we navigate the Sierpe River and its lush mangrove forest—home to birds, mammals, and reptiles. This ecosystem plays a vital role in Costa Rica's biodiversity.
